Driving the M1 today I note the gantry signs are warning of congestion this coming Saturday and Sunday, vicininty of jct 23A (where A42 from Birmingham & SW joins, south of Nottingham) due to an event at Donington Park. Seems to be Renault World Series motor racing. Just something to be aware of if you're planning to drive up country on the day, anywhere near piling in or chucking out time.

PS - The qualifiers are scheduled to start at 0900 and the last race to finish 1750. Perhaps all who are going will be in there when you pass by.

Driving down the M1 today I thought I saw a gantry sign near Doncaster warning "Pete Atkin on road.", but the next one said "Pedestrians". Have I got something on my mind?
