I see novelist and Pete Atkin enthusiast/lookalike Iain Banks is hosting BBC 6Music's 'Paperback Writer' programme next Sunday at 12 noon. When Banks appeared on 'Desert Island Discs' in 1997, he picked 'Beware of the Beautiful Stranger' as one of his eight records. Wonder if there's any chance of a little Atkin this time around?
