Owing - or thanks - to an error in the Hillside Music stock control interface mechanisms, a modest but significant quantity of the See For Miles 2LPs-on-1CD reissue of the first two albums has surfaced. (Actually, they were in an unmarked box of unsold tour merchandise.) These really are the last brand new, cellophane-wrapped copies. They are once again -- but probably only briefly, while stocks last -- available from the Hillside online shop at the bargain price of just 9 (nine) British quids +P&P. Buy now, Ebay later. Please form as orderly a virtual queue as possible.

Sorry, David, but no chance, I'm afraid. Not only every nook but also each and every cranny in the Hillside cave has now been vacated in the search for any further lurking product.

Well, Pete, it looks like you're just going to have to get the Shrinks together and get back in the studio to record them both/all again. No immediate hurry, of course.

Is there any news on Pete's plans to re-record some of the songs from the original albums? That seems to have gone a bit quiet lately. I thought maybe the 'Desert Island' poll might have been the basis for this. Pete, any news?

Now that really is excellent news. I have parted with three copies of that CD in the last
three years...pour encourager les autres... but was rather hoping one of them might have found its way back to me.

Believe me, no-one ...but no-one is borrowing this copy. The order will be online shortly.

From wind-swept Cotham, in Bristol ..where we have enjoyed ( if that is the word for which I am searching) all four seasons in the space of less than one day! The hail was especially spectacular.

You could be forgiven for thinking we're in some kind of a five loaves and two fishes situation, but I think you'd be wrong. Nevertheless, one more box of 25 of the See For Miles Beware of the Beautiful Stranger+Driving Through Mythical America CD has turned up from the darker recesses of the remains of the See For Miles empire, so once again it reappears on the shelves of the Hillside Shop. I suspect that most of you reading this will already have it, so this is mainly for the general information. I know I keep saying it's there ONLY WHILE STOCKS LAST, but it's as true as before, and, if I were you, I wouldn't bank on this kind of thing continuing to happen into infinity.
