Several of you knew my brother Jeff. Living in Edmonton Alberta he was a great fan of Pete and Clive's music. He was visiting London when the first Revival event took place - the pre-MVs Fod, and he and I travelled up to Derbyshire on the Friday evening and again on Saturday morning to attend the pre-meet. It was Jeff who first drew my attention to Steve's website.

While visiting Thailand to meet his globe-trotting son, he had a fatal heart attack on Saturday morning. He was two days short of his 55th birthday. His children lost their mother 12 years from cancer so it is a double tragedy. His family and friends are devastated. I am now in Thaliand making arrangements for his body to be returned to Canada.

We are very sorry to hear that, Leslie. We have fond memories of meeting you and Jeff for the first time (Jeff for the only time) in 1997. As I remember, you both came up to Monyash on the Friday evening for the gathering at our home to meet Pete and share the excitement of the coming FoD the next day, and drove back to London that night as you had a Bar Mitzvah to attend on the Saturday morning. Then back up to Monyash in time for the afternoon and evening events. Definitely above and beyond.

Please pass on our sympathy to all Jeff's family, including you and Gill of course. We are sure he will be very much missed.

Thanks all for your condolences. I have returned from the funeral in Edmonton and life is gradually returning to normal.
