Clive James has two new poems in the June isssue of Standpoint (http://standpointmag.co.uk/node/3057/full), one dedicated to the recently deceased friend, the poet Peter Porter (http://www.poetryarchive.org/poetryarchive/singlePoet.do?poetId=1709) (1929 - 2010), and the other to belatedly mark the publication Dante Alighieri: Monarchia (http://www.lelettere.it/site/e_Product.asp?IdCategoria=&TS02_ID=1442). Edited by Prue Shaw for the Società Dantesca Italiana, 2009,  an editor who has the “true gift that would bring/Our house the honours that mean everything."
