On a rather more sinister note:

Beware of the Beautiful Strangler

No Vice
Lust For Me
Lady Of A Gay
My Brothel's Keeper
Practical Van (not to be confused with Iceream Van or Thirty Year Van)
Don't Mother Me Now
I've Got Bitter Things To Do

Or, on a more sartorial note, The Ties That Blind You and I Wouldn't Hear A Word Against The String.

The lust is endless...

I suppose someone who was very interested in solid flooring might be a

"screed freak"

... and a couple who are both very keen on food might say

"Between us there is noshing."

I'm trying really hard, however, not to think about  "The man who walked ... " in this context  :)

Jim.

In putting The pearl-driller into my "top ten Atkin songs" list I originally typed "The pear-driller". I wonder, what would a pear driller actually do, and what kind of hands would they have? Better a pear-driller than an ear-driller, of course. (I know, that's a two-letter misprint, but I didn't hear the instructions properly because I was having my pears drilled).

What, the pear of them? At the same time? That's not fear!

Ah, yes, I saw some of those once. In fact, there were about 6 x 1023 of them. A mole was carrying them across my lawn.

I was tempted to enquire what Midnight Vices might be, but on mature reflection it's probably better not to ask.

Unless it's to do with metal-working, of course...

Don't forget these genuine ones (i.e. ones that have actually appeared in print):
[list bull-blackball]
  • Have You Got A Bird I Can Borrow?
  • Master Of The Rebels

    And a few more:
    [list bull-blacksq]
  • No Dace - a fisherman's disappointment
  • Nothing Left To Pay - if only!
  • Sodden Arrivals - like us earlier today  :(
  • A Dream Of Bair Women - well, it could be a genuine misprint, so spelling doesn't come into it!  ;)
