Title: Re: Jonathan James-Moore Post by Mike Walters on 01.12.05 at 00:33 A very thoughtful and moving obituary, I thought - possibly should also mention the Times obit to Jonathan James-Moore which included some fine contextual references (understandably omitted from the Guardian) to Messrs Atkin and James. And, pace Pete's description of JJM as 'physically most unlikely senior manager', one of the glories of the old style Beeb was that this was precisely the kind of person (capable, enthusiastic) who did become a senior manager. Not sure it's true anymore, though. Mike |
