Downloaded all the material from the MV members only area in anticipation of its closure earlier.  I'm having trouble viewing the MPEGs.  The only one that seems to work is he Harry Secombe one.  All the others do open and I do get sound and video.  But they simply skip and judder for a few seconds and then stop.  Only the MPEGs from the MV site seem to be affected, as all my others work OK.  Get the same results with Windows Media Player and Winamp.
 
Any suggestions?

Have you tried downloading the Elecard player from the same place as the mpg files?
 
I don't know why, but it seems to work for me. I tried with Real player and Windows Media player first, and got similar strange effects (some had no sound at all, some started and then ground to a halt, etc.) The Elecard player seems to work fine with everything I've tried so far - highly recommended, and the download is dead quick too!
