Hi there!

Thought a thread like this might be useful.

For instance, someone might like to know:
What is a "sticky thread?"

Let's imagine for a moment it's me that wants to know....
....because, actually I DO want to know.

Then someone else can answer (who DOES know).

So....
What is it?

Julian,
As I understand it, in the normal course of events old threads will disappear from view and be superseded by more recent discussions. All very logical for most discussions but for things like FAQs it would be useful if they stayed visible no matter how old they got. Well, that's what a "sticky" thread is, one that sticks at the top of the list no matter how old it gets.

Now here's a question for you: What's brown and sticky?

Roger....

The Isle Of Wight Ferry?

Wink

Thanks for the explanation.  Makes perfect sense, of course.
