'Top' button.

Hi Alexis,

Normally I hate those 'top of page' buttons on web sites, and conciously refuse to use them.  They are often placed on pages that are so short as to not need them anyway, and very often I don't want to go there anyway.  However, I find now in this YaBB forum that I have scrolled down to the bottom following a thread, and then wish to go back to the place I came from, the next layer up, to see the other threads in the same section.  The only way to do this appears to be at the top of the page, where I can click on the folder (in this case 'Tech').

For the first time ever, I want a 'Top' button.  Is it possible?

A discreet little fix, but I think this might do it... (see below left)

Well done again, Steve.

Now how about a "Bottom" button, or equivalent which would allow you to go straight to the bottom of the page to see the latest item(s) in a thread?

Anyone else think this would be useful?

Cheers

Right, slave driver Smiley. I think this would best be implemented as a "Jump to Latest Post" link. Try this! -- Steve

Brilliant!

Slave driver? I don't want you to think you have to do everything I suggest (I'm sure you don't)!

But I'm most impressed with the service (not surprised though!)  Grin

Have a good weekend all.

Thank you very much Steve,  I'm also _very_ impressed with the quick response, and all the sterling effort you're putting in to this forum.  I'm sure things will settle down in a bit, and give you some rest.  How do you keep up with all the traffic and still find time?  - No, don't answer that, save your efforts to keep up the good work.

Thanks again,

Just to let you know, Steve - I find this function extremely useful and use it all the time. Hope others do, too. Thanks again.

Glad I suggested it Wink

Cheers
