I borrowed a DVD of the late John Coltrane (a favourite target of Clive's) from the local library and guess who was doing the presentation? None other than Uncle Seabird himself but sitting on a barstool not in a wheelchair. Ralph G. had to keep glancing at his notes throughout the intro but he needn't have bothered, they added nothing to the music which was (and here I have to differ from Clive) wonderful.
