It seems the BBC has purged from its comedy website all mention of this item about "Turn It On", the rural Nottinghamshire preview outing for Footlights' 1968 Edinburgh Fringe Show, apparently to make space for more video clips of dodgy sitcoms and stand-up artists from the last five years.

"Turn It On" featured Pete Atkin, Clive James, Julie Covington, Rob Buckman, Russell Davies and other luminaries, and was broadcast live on BBC-2, as the channel was then styled.
